Get Connected
Maybe you’ve just started coming to GCC or maybe you’ve
been tested the waters and you're ready to ramp up your involvement.
How do people get connected and develop friendships in at
Greenview?
Attend a Next Step Class
What’s at the heart of GCC? And what makes your heart
beat faster? These classes explore God, GCC, your purpose
in life, and your next step in spiritual growth and connecting
with Greenview.
Join
a Group
Whether it's a small group where you connect through a book
or Bible study; or a fellowship group where you discover safe
community and growth. Currently we are developing groups for
our 40 Days of Community. Group life is real life.
Volunteer
to serve
Be part of something bigger than yourself. Use your gifts
and experiences to serve others and develop friendships on
the team along the way. Help someone. It’s that simple.
Serve…help in the nursery, make coffee – mow the
yard…you choose. Make a habit of serving others; you’ll
be surprised by the good it does you.
Be
a friend
Cultivate friendships that define “meaningful.”
We are better together. Invite someone to lunch, over to the
house for coffee or let the kids play together at the park.
Develop reciprocal relationships with people who will encourage
you to become the person God meant you to be. People who expect
you’ll do the same for them.
Share
an invitation or CD
Share God’s love. Sometimes you’re given the
perfect opening to invite someone to church. Other times,
you need to find common ground and cultivate it before you
extend the invitation. Do whatever it takes to “open
the door” for others. We have e-vite cards on our website
and cd’s that you can leave with your tip.
Do
the Next Right Thing
What’s your next right thing? Maybe it’s joining
a small group. Dating your mate. Giving up the remote. Making
that long overdue apology. Question is, who are you when nobody’s
looking - and who do you want to be?
