The phrase “Who’s Your Daddy?” has been an expression to show dominance over someone else for a long time. In the 1968 song “Time of the Season” the Zombies sang; “What’s your name? Who’s your daddy? Is he rich like me?” Arnold Schwarzenegger asked the question in the movie Kindergarten Cop and so did Denzel Washington in the movie Remember the Titans. In 2004 Yankees fans shouted the phrase ‘who’s your daddy’ at Pedro Martinez during the American League championship series. We will be asking that question over the next few weeks at GCC. Were not asking as a taunt or slang but rather who is your dad and what is you’re dad like? Your heavenly dad that is. Over the next few weeks we will look at just a few of the characteristics of our heavenly father…Who’s Your Daddy?
